... All of the traffic signs in Quebec are in French,... and I don't speak French.

Mont Tremblant, Quebec.

Spent the whole day yesterday on the beach and water. Interesting that every inch of beach and shoreline is owned by someone and they charge quite a lot of money for access. We paid some duckets and hung out on a beach down the hill from the resort. Lots of rules and lots of money to do anything. Kinda wished I'd taken my Kayak with me. Finished up the day with a boat ride and a really tasty dinner on the lake.

This whole day was shot using my little Digital Elf camera. I'm happy with the "snapshot" ability of this little thing, but it really pales in comparison to the Nikon D70.

The pay-for-the-sand beach with Mont Tremblant in the distance.

Blazing hot, we took refuge in the shade and had some Margeritas. Yum.

We rented a pontoon boat with a thumping 9 horsepower motor! We did several slow motion water stunts.

Kenna pilots the mighty craft.

It was pretty cool actually. We parked it out in the middle of the lake and dove in. Almost got clobbered by a landing sea plane.

I had to act like Captain Bligh a few times,... but I managed to keep control of the vessel and avoid a mutiny.

Gramma and Grampa chilling on the poop deck..

Returning from the lake, completely exhausted and with way too much sunshine, we reserved a table for twelve at a really swishy five star restaraunt on the lake.

Nummy food and red faces.

Sunset on the terrace overlooking Lac Tremblant.

Sparkling dessert for the birthday chicks.
