July 24st, 2005

Regina, Saskatchewan to Calgary, Alberta.

We took off from Regina and drove across the flattest land I have ever seen. Flat Flat Flat. Like, as one local put it "Piss on a Plate". We started off the day at a weird little cafe and then set off across the fucking huge expanse that are the Great Saskatchewan Plains.

After ten hours of driving across the surface of the moon, we finally landed in Calgary last night and were subject to an impromptu party at Gails (Deb's sisters) place. Had way too much fun and today has been a bit blurry.....

The Pics:

These people came and sat with me during breakfast,... I was to frightened to say anything.

There are "Extreme" Pitas in Regina, Saskatchewan...

imagine this as a 360 degree view... really,.. it is so flat I can't even begin to explain.

Hay!

The van rolled over to 250K,.. good ol' Toyota.

Finally in Calgary, Deb's friend Denise and her new Bo showed up,... Deb and Denise ham it for the camera.

Another great party,... seems to be a lot of these,...
