Calgary, Alberta to Hope, BC.

Getting closer! We made a dash today over the Canadian Rockies from Calgary to Hope, British Columbia. A great trip only slightly marred by the malfunction of my digital camera which ate a bunch of truly excellent mountain shots. But for gas, we stopped only once at this cool little tourist trap called the "Enchnted Forest". When Deb was a little girl, she always watched it fly by the window on car trips, never stopping to see it. Today we stopped and trapsed around the forest. Most of it was pretty cheesy, but they had built this amazing treehouse in the forest,.. just totally cool. Off through Vancouver and down past Washington to mid-Oregon somewhere tomorrow...

The American Rockies got nothin on the ones the Canuks got. The eastern side of these mountains is awe inspiring. Photos don't do them justice.
